NOTHING WORKS FOR ME!

“NOTHING WORKS FOR ME!”

cropped-blackandwhitepic-1.jpg

The truth is….you are right!  NOTHING will work for you!

I hear this time and time again…’Nothing works for me!’

“I try those weight loss programs, but nothing works for me.”

“I tried those silly 12 step recovery programs, but nothing works for me.”

YOU ARE RIGHT!

Nothing will work for you!

Because….YOU HAVE TO DO THE WORK!

Oh my goodness….listen up…you actually have to change.  If nothing changes, nothing changes!  I do not want to sound harsh but when did we transform into this meaningless, lack of motivation lazy being that just want, want, want and not do, do, do?

Nothing in life worth much is for free.  So, YES, nothing works for you unless you work for it!  Everything has a price, even your happiness.

But until you accept that…You are worth it!  You are worth the blood, sweat and tears.  It’s time to invest in YOU!

The next time you hear someone say ‘nothing works for me!’  Ask them, what are you working at….for YOU?

And if this comes across as too direct or kinda rude….sometimes Tina needs to speak some truth and it ain’t pretty.  Time to work, work, work for you!

Make that change!  Start eating differently!  Put down that drug!  Step out in faith and start doing the work to improve your life.  The fortune is in the follow through…keep working!  Don’t give up!  Don’t give in!

Faith Based Events

ChurchesSpecializing in Faith Based Speaking Events!

With a personal story of overcoming abuse, addictions and adversities like mine, how can I not speak about my faith?

My faith is very important to me and even though I do speak at conferences and events that are not faith based, I want to ensure you that I do respect secular requests as much as Faith Based ones.

When in doubt, please call me to speak to me personally about your event.  I appreciate you considering me:  727-288-7652

Chewbecca mask

truthtileThe truth is…laughter and joy are contagious!

I absolutely love the woman that puts on the Chewbecca mask and just laughs and laughs.  How can you not laugh with her and at her mask?

Humor heals!  In a world where it’s stressful just driving your car one block down the street, or standing in a line at the local fast food restaurant;  we need light hearted laughter.  Laughing reduces stress, decreases blood pressure and makes life worth living.  That last fact, I made up!  Furthermore, who does not like to laugh?  Seriously, get a good ole’ laugh in today!

Every speaking presentation I do includes humor.  Clean, rated PG humor.  Non offensive, good fun humor.  The kind of humor my audiences get, understand and want more of.  Humor heals…and so does chocolate 😉

New Journey with Homeless & Runaway Youth!

Many of you that know me understand my passion for young people, let alone young people that are struggling with life.  Today marks the end of a chapter at the Department of Juvenile Justice and on Monday, I start a new chapter in my profession.

I will coordinate a program to keep homeless and runaway youth safe.  It is a bitter sweet transition because I have grown to love my colleagues here at DJJ, however, I know I already have a work family waiting for me at my new job.

New beginnings can be packaged full of anxiety decorated with excitement and topped off with a tight, uncontrollable bow to present itself as a surprise to pave a bright future.  Thank you to everyone that I have crossed paths with in this journey and I anticipate our paths will cross again in the near future.
